SA-IDA Monthly Section Meeting

When: WEDNESDAY, February 8th AT 5:30 PM

Where:  At the IDA office, 3225 N. First Ave., just North of Ft. Lowell

1. Minutes of the December meeting and Treasure's report, if available

2. Proposed change for the March SA-IDA meeting:

    A PARTY AT THE VEGA-BRAY OBSERVATORY !!!
      (it will be a tribute to our founder, Eduardo Vega)

    DATE:  WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1st

    We will meet for dinner at a restaurant in Benson and
    then we will all gather at the Observatory for an evening
    of viewing through the telescopes. 

    More details to follow.

3. Crime and street lights - - - progress report regarding the study.

4.  How can we interact with law enforcement personal in the Tucson
    area, especially regarding education ???

5. Any new obtrusive lighting complaints and/or follow-ups. 

    Forms to TAAA meetings.
 
6. Recurring projects for 2006:  Science fair (march), TAAA-ASDM Star
    Parties( ?? May and/or September), Saturday evenings ASDM (June,
    July and August), Harvest Moon Festival (September), Ironwood Fair
    (Audubon, ??? May), Kitt Peak Docents, Whipple Observatory 

7. The IDA International Meeting in Tucson - - - March 15-18th at the Marriott
    University Park. This year's annual meeting is focusing on the theme of
    Night Lighting and Human Health.
