SA-IDA Section Meeting

When: WEDNESDAY, March 9th AT 5:30 PM

Where:  At the IDA office, 3225 N. First Ave., just North of Ft. Lowell

PROPOSED AGENDA:

1. Minutes of the November meeting and Treasure's report

2. TAAA General Meeting last Friday - - - Follow-up

3. Science Fair Judging, Tuesday morning, March 15th.  Status of the prizes 

4. IDA Annual Meeting: 

(A.) Section Conference 
(B.) Information Poster (or two)
(C.) Star Party after the Banquet

5. TAAA members' contest update

6.  Dark Sky Meter

(A.) Avery still needs help building a new and updated model 
(B.) Schedule a date and place to retest the meter
(C.) Consider using a battery powered "light-box" for calibration

7. Earth Day at the U. of A. - - - Thursday, April 21st, from 10:00 AM. until 3:00 PM 

8. Three Points Area follow-up

9. Progress report from the SLC (Sustainable Lighting Committee being created at the
    U. of Arizona, Department of Architecture - - - We now need help from other departments
    at the University, especially astronomy.  Also, other organizations within the community.

10. Follow-up any new obtrusive lighting complaints and/or new reports of any
lighting problems.
