SA-IDA Monthly Section Meeting

When: This up-coming, WEDNESDAY, May 10th at 5:30 PM

Where:  At the IDA office, 3225 N. First Ave., just North of Ft. Lowell 


WE WILL HAVE HOT PIZZA FOR EVERYBODY !

PROPOSED AGENDA:

PLEASE SEND ME ANY SUGGESTIONS OR ADDITIONS

1. Minutes of the last meeting and Treasure's report, if available

2.  IDA Saturday evenings at the Desert Museum.  Three evenings have been
     scheduled.  We still need to consider participating on teachers night. 
     Volunteers will be needed.  Consider working with Starizona again.
 
3.  Should we again consider a better working relationship between SA-IDA
     and TAAA ???  Note: TAAA has a new executive committee. 

4.  How can we interact with law enforcement personal in the Tucson
    area, especially regarding education ???

5.  Any new obtrusive lighting complaints and/or follow-ups. 

     The Chevron station at Camp Lowell and Swan.  Can we work with
     any neighbors and/or any property owner association(s) ???


6.  Report from the University of Arizona, Sustainable Lighting Committee: 
     There is to be a certificate of endorsement from IDA and SA-IDA for
     completion of formal course work related to outdoor lighting.

     EVERYONE IS INVITED TO ATTEND THE SPRING 2006 PRESENTATION
     OF THE SUSTAINABLE LIGHTING COMMITTEE.  IT WILL BE HELD ON
     FRIDAY, 12TH MAY, IN THE DRACHMAN CONFERENCE HALL OF THE
     ARCHITECTURE BUILDING FROM  10:00AM TO NOON.
                     (THAT IS ON THE FIRST FLOOR)

7.  Follow-up report from the Science Fair judging.  Should we consider making
     any changes for next year ???

8.  A large public meeting sponsored by SA-IDA - - - consider the following topic:

                 "The Effect of Light during the Night on Breast Cancer"
