SA-IDA Monthly Section Meeting

When: This Up-Coming WEDNESDAY, August 9h at 5:30 PM

Where:  At the IDA office, 3225 N. First Avenue,  just North of Ft. Lowell Road

PROPOSED AGENDA:

PLEASE SEND ME ANY SUGGESTIONS OR ADDITIONS

1.  Minutes of the last meeting and Treasure's report, if available

2.  Astronomy and IDA Saturday evenings at the Desert Museum. 
     Finalize plans for this Saturday evening, August 12th.
 
3.  A large public meeting sponsored by SA-IDA to be held at the
     University of Arizona, Health Science Center.  It is time to start
     making serious preparations !!!!!

     Topic:  "The Effect of Light during the Night on Breast Cancer"

     Dr. David Blask has agreed to participate.  He will be back in Tucson
     in September or October, 2006.  We also have a liaison to help us
     obtain an auditorium. 

4. Should we plan frequent public meetings ???

5.  Consider a follow-up meeting with Arizona State Representative,
     Olivia Bedford ???

6.  Any new obtrusive lighting complaints and/or follow-ups. 

     Follow-up regarding the apartment complex at Sunrise and Swan. 

7.  How can we interact with law enforcement personal in the Tucson
    area, especially regarding education ??? 

8.  The 2007 Science Fair judging.  Should we consider making
     any changes regarding our participation next year ???

9.  Plans for an evening meeting with members of the current TAAA
     executive committee.  This will likely occur next month.
