These Quartz Yard & Security Flood Lights are Illegal

in Southern Arizona  because they are not shielded.

It is a good idea to use a security light that uses a

Motion Sensor so it is only on when needed but use

a fixture that is shielded so all the light shines downward.

City of Tucson: Outdoor Lights over 50 watts

(other than incandescent) must be shielded.

Oro Valley: Outdoor lights over 2,000 lumens must be shielded.

Pima County: Outdoor lights over 3,000 lumens must be shielded
